Lexington Brewing Company

If Kentucky was to be noted for things it would be horses, basketball, and most importantly whiskey.  Lexington, Kentucky is a mecca of distilleries of delicious bourbon.  The Lexington Brewing Company is just one of those distilleries.

Walking into the Lexington Brewing Company, you smell the wooden floors and the next thing you notice is the faint tease of bourbon permeating in the air.  The gift shop itself is like you just got off a train in the 1920s and you are looking at old Irish style train station.  Different parts of their business surrounding you, the smell of the cedar floors teasing your nose, and with all the whiskies they have to sell there just mixing with the wood flooring make for a time you will never forget.

The prices of whiskey to take it home are also super reasonable.  You can't get the cost of whiskey better than right from the supplier, its about 35.00 for the big bottle.   It is a place you will go back to again and again when you return to Lexington.
